In my morning sync of content I was pleasantly surprised to see the Scobleshow update on my iPod. Although I did only get “The non-hostile Apple OSX vs. Windows Vista OS debate, Part II”, it was a nice sight. I’ve been subscribed for a couple months but haven’t seen more than one or two, since I take these with me and don’t watch them on a computer.
Now home, I checked the feed and see that there three more new episodes in the feed since my morning sync. Download those, sync and confirm that it works. It looks like they’ve worked out the encoding troubles.
Thanks guys.
I hope the PodTech folks don’t fall into the pain it was trying to keep up with the Gillmor Gang and multiple episodes. I sure do miss the Gang. Even being the pain in the ass it was to get the podcast, play them in the right order, skip the first 4 minutes, curse Steve, then sit back and listen. I’d have to say these were the most interactive podcasts I’ve ever subscribed to.

Along with the rest of the Mac heads that couldn’t be at Macworld for the keynote today, I’m keeping up with Macrumorslive. My shopping list is growing pretty quickly. I’m very interested in the Apple TV (especially if I could get it to work with DVArchive and my ReplayTV), and the wide screen iPod.
I can’t wait to see the keynote as a stream later today (or in the morning), as well as all the blog recaps from folks actually there.
[update] – the widescreen iPod is only with the iPhone. I guess I’ll wait for the stand alone with more than 8 gigs of storage… And time to get on an HDTV, so I have something to support the Apple TV.

Somehow over the holiday break I listened to the TimesTalk (feed, mp3) podcast talking about real life crime scene investigation versus the CSI franchise. I’m a fan of the TV series.
The panel included Linda Fairstein, Dr. Henry Lee and Anthony Zuiker.
This guy Dr. Lee is fantastic. A little over 27 minutes in he gets talking about the OJ trial and how it brought forensics to the masses. We had all the media bombardment that no one could escape, even if they wanted to. He brings life to the audience where he notes that “80% of the caucasians thought he was guilty, 80% of the minorities thought he was innocent, and 100% of the Chinese couldn’t give a sh*t.” Priceless.
Well, I’m off to pull down more previous TimesTalks. The archive of content in the feed looks great.
