Eric Rice heads to Podtech

February 19th, 2007

Ah, Eric surfaces in yet another new media outlet.

A new show. Or two.:

I’m working on the first episodes for an original series for Podtech that focuses on the lifestyle and culture surrounding video gaming– including the passions and skills that go into it. Everything from music to medicine, weaponry, recreation, fantasy— all those things start in real life, and make their way onto the screen where we interact and immerse ourselves in the product of massive teams of craftspeople, as well as the everyday people like you and me.

Congrats, Eric.

Deleting 40+ gigs of podcasts

February 15th, 2007

In an effort to clean up my iTunes library (and also free disk space) I deleted more than 40 gigs of podcasts. What a great feeling.

I do wonder how many subscribers are really archiving the all podcasts they subscribe to. Sure, there will be some that are worth hanging on to, but the bulk of them can be dumped after watching or listening.
